RFID scanners that have “Keyboard Wedge” mode as an output option should work with the Sign In Screen client once the scanner is configured to use this mode as its output.
One such example of a RFID scanner that uses this mode is the
OMNIKEY 5427CK Scanner
which can be configured to output in Keyboard Wedge mode using the scanner configuration tool provided by the manufacturer.
